Good Evening Dear Ones!
I hope everyone has had a Wonderful and Wonder-Filled Wednesday! Tonight we begin to look towards the third anniversary of this blog. I give thanks to God for this ministry that God has given us. Tomorrow we will celebrate but tonight we open our heart homes to God's love and let God's love energy out. Our hearts and shoulders need to be wide open to love one another and share each other's burdens. This is a time where we need to pull together as one people, nation, world, and family. Here at Walk With Me On Our Journey, we are all one, our diversity is what unites us in the CALM Principle, (Compassion, Acceptance, Love, and Mercy) We all have a lot of work to do to help make our lives and world a better place but that means we need to open our heart homes with radical love and hospitality to all people and ourselves. We need to be a loving, praying, and centered people and positive role models to others. We need to light our candles and help those who are sitting in a dark places to find their way out and into the loving light and presence of God. Tonight we must be at prayer and spend time together.
Let us open up our heart homes and pray with God's love energy. Let us light our Candles and pray with joy and light.
God we open up our heart homes and light our candles and pray with love. We pray that we may love our family members deeply, broadly, unconditionally with hope, joy, peace, and love energy. We pray for an end to indifference, hatred, violence, and division. We pray that we may re-educate ourselves to practice radical hospitality, attitudes of gratitude, random acts of kindness, and that we may do in the words of the Prophet Micah- "To do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God" We pray that we may focus our lives towards the loving care and in service to the least of these. We pray with loving hearts for our family members who have lost their lives in acts of terror of all kinds. We pray that we may light our candles in solidarity and love for those who are mourning and struggling with life's dark times. We pray that we may be light shiners, love givers, joy bringers, hope bearers, and peace makers. We light our candles as we pray for those things that are heavy on our hearts and lay them on the broad and loving shoulders of God Amen.
Prayers from a blog I wrote two years ago in list form!
Tonight we will pray in list form instead of written intercessions. Just to clue everyone in, we are in the Jesus cycle of prayers for these 3 groups of 4 chemo treatments. The first 4 were dedicated to God, the second 4 are dedicated to Jesus, and the third and final 4 are dedicated to the Holy Spirit. So tomorrow we return to intercessions with Jesus at the beginning of the prayers.
Tonight I bid your prayers for:
That we may sow seeds of love, joy, hope, peace, and be the light to all who are in dark places of any kind.
