Taking care of ourselves and our family members through the gift of presence and prayer

Good Evening Dear Ones,

Happy Take Care Tuesday! I hope everyone remembers that is what we must do all the time. This is especially true with all the trials and tribulations we are facing as family members, a nation, and a fragile and broken world. Yes, dear ones we find ourselves neglecting many things with all of  past few week's goings on. I want everyone tonight and throughout the week taking care of  ourselves and others. This is self-care and family-care week here at Walk With Me On Our Journey. If you haven't been checking in with your loved ones, neighbors, and those who may rub you the wrong way please start.  Tonight we are going to do a prayer vigil and prayers. I invite you to ask your family members to join us for this time together.

God we light a circle of candles as we pray together as one family, one humanity, and one world praying together for peace. We pray this night that we may be encircled with your loving and steadfast presence as we pray for one another and give thanks for you and all the abundance you provide for us and the Earth. We pray that we may pass a virtual candle to the next person and keep it going as we look and seek you in each other's faces. We pray that we may be drawn nearer to one another and even in the presence of our enemies that we may start shining a light and begin to build bridges and tear down walls. We pray that we may seek to be loving even when we find it hard to do so. We pray for and end to all hatred, violence, and division. We pray that we may be encircled in the light of God and wrapped in a prayer quilt of CALM ( Compassion, Acceptance, Love, and Mercy)  God we pray for all who have died this day and remember in our hearts those who have died in the many violent acts these past weeks. Tonight we hold them in our hears and think on them. We light additional candles and pray for those who have requested our prayers and those who haven't the courage to ask. We lift these our prayers to You O, God of all. Amen.

Tonight listen to this song as you meditate on the above.

I will Change Your Name

God we pray that we will be changed into the loving and kind people you have made us to be.

God we pray that our cold hearts may be changed to warm and loving ones seeking unity with one another.

God we pray that our  lives may be changed as we listen to your still small voice.

God we pray that we may accept changes within ourselves for the good of all.

God we pray that we may be able to live authentically as we are and not have to be differing people just to suit the audiences

God we pray for all who are ill in body mind, and spirit.

God we pray for all who are mourning.
