We pray that we may step out in love !

Good Evening Dear Ones!

I hope and pray that everyone is ok and that we are endeavoring to face each tragedy we see in our country and the world with prayer and courage. We must be careful how and what we tweet and post and respond to in social media now more than ever. Here is what I posted last year and it is still valid and let's give it a try no let's not try but do:

Let's make a pledge as family members and Children of God to post only positive and inspiring posts that won't wound or harm another person's emotions or attack who God made them to be today. Before you post look in the mirror and ask yourself if this how God wants you to act and would Jesus do this? If your answer is no then don't post. Remember you are hurting and harming your relationship with God and the family members God has called us to love, serve, and include. Remember to Love. Period. Serve. Period. Include . Period.and Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk. Period. Words wound. Period. Actions wound. Period. Remember this. Period.

Prayer Vigil and a pledge.

God, we light our candles this night and pray for the city of Baton Rouge as we speak the names of Montrell Jackson, Matthew Gerald and Brad Garafola Let light perpetual shine upon them we pray for those who are mourning their loss. We pray for an end to all acts of gun violence and for those who are led to commit these acts. God we pray that we my be mindful of our relationships one to another in social media that today, right here, right now in your holy presence God ,we pledge to you and one another: as family members and Children of God to post only positive and inspiring posts that won't wound or harm another person's emotions or attack who God made them to be today.God help us,before we post look in the mirror and ask ourselves if this is how God wants us to act and would Jesus do this? If our answer is no then don't post. God help us to remember we are hurting and harming our relationship with You O ,God and the family members you have called us to love, serve, and include.Help us we pray to Remember to Love. Period. Serve. Period. Include . Period.and Walk the Walk and Talk the Talk. Period. Words wound. Period. Actions wound. Period. Remember this. Period. Amen.

Dear God:

We pray that we may step out in love, and faith without fear, to make the world a better place.

We pray that we may step out in love, and faith without fear to comfort and serve the least of these.

We pray that we may step out in love, and faith without fear to become the peacemakers the world needs.

We pray that we may step out in love, and faith without fear to lovingly respond to all who are grieving.

We pray that we may step out in love, and faith without fear to take risks and serve you O, God in ways that are out of the box and unimaginable.

We pray that we may step out in love, and faith without fear to comfort and sustain those who don not like us but need us as their soft places to fall.

We pray that we may step out in love, and faith without fear to love our family members who are unloving, different, and have been estranged from us.

We pray that we may step out in love, and faith without fear to be there when we would rather not be.

We pray that we may step out in love, and faith without fear to learn to lovingly include us who are learning to live authentically as we are and not as you would have us be.
