Back from the hot box! Time to chill and pray!

Dear Family of Love,

I have returned to much cooler weather! Praying for all who are in need of cooling centers this week.
I had a wonderful trip home. The temperatures were like a roller coaster Hot, not so hot, getting cooler, and hot again! I'm trying to find out what God is telling us with all of this? I think it does have something to do with global warming or maybe handling grace under pressure with crazy freeways, getting lost, and making sure that we don't panic. Tonight let's take time to rest, chill, and pray. But first here is a bit of meditation music to calm, chill, and refocus and set our hearts and minds on holy things! Ippolitov- Ivanov Caucasian Sketches or Respighi -The Birds

Gracious Spirit bring us cool and seasonable weather that will keep our livestock, crops, and all living things healthy.

Gracious Spirit, we pray for the least of these who are either out in the cold or in places of unbearable heat. We remember especially the homeless, hungry, and isolated.

Gracious Spirit, we pray for all who are ill and all those who face challenges with the weather.

Gracious Spirit, enfold all those who are living with cancer and especially those who are facing periods of  being in isolation and away from their families.

Gracious Spirit, we pray for an end to hate, violence, cruelty in all its forms. May we bring peace, hope, joy, and love to God's broken world.

Gracious Spirit enfold all those who mourn the loss of loved ones today and those who sit at bedside during loved ones transition.

Gracious Spirit, take our bodies, minds, and spirits and use them to heal, help, and serve God in His kingdom.

Gracious Spirit, we pray for all who travel that they may go and come back safely.

Gracious Spirit, make our hearts and heads more tender that we may practice random acts of kindness and love one another freely without fear.

Gracious Spirit we pray on behalf our ourselves and others remembering especially______________

Gracious Spirit, we remember today St. Ninian of Galloway with this prayer:

O God, who by the preaching of your blessed servant and bishop Ninian caused the light of the Gospel to shine in the land of Britain: Grant, we pray, that, having his life and labors in remembrance, we may show our thankfulness by following the example of his zeal and patience; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Gracious Spirit we lift our prayers in Jesus Most Holy Name. Amen.
