Happy Being Thankful and Thoughtful Thursday! Remember everyday is holy!

Good Evening Dear Family of Love!

What a day I have had! Attending two different types Celebrations of Lives made me think of how the loss of a loved one is universal and it doesn't matter what setting these services, parties, wakes take place. This morning I attended the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Guadalupe. The service was for the husband of one of our employees at Guadalupe Hardware. It was a wonderful service. This afternoon the celebration of life took place at the Country Club where Mom and Dad were members. This one was for one my dad's golfing buddies.  I felt that Mom and Dad wanted me to be present at both services and celebration of lives. Sometime I will tell you about Mom and Dad my Princess or Etiquette lessons! Mom called it gracious living an course that she took at Pomona College in Claremont . I'm very glad that I did. I'm thankful for these lives and our familial connections. My attendance meant a lot to those who have lost their loved ones  It doesn't take much to be thoughtful and thankful. It is the willingness of the heart to enter into an attitude of gratitude and value connecting with others when they need it the most. Just keeping contact with your friends and family when you haven't seen them all day or they have spent a day off the grid and letting them know that you are thinking of them is huge. They may shrug it off  at the time but later they will feel like a million dollars and their hearts will be filled with a glass of warm love. Please practice mindful gratitude and inclusion each and every day. Tonight let us meditate on all that we have to be thankful for and ask ourselves this "How have I been thoughtful today?"  Tonight's feature music is this Loreena McKennitt - Youtube Mix  take your time and find peace at the center and when you are ready enter into prayer with tonight's written prayers.

Gracious and Loving God we pray this night for all of us who have lost loved ones and those who are preparing for their loved one's journey into the Thin Places. Give us loving hearts to comfort those who mourn and those who sit vigil.

May we this night remember all of our family members who feel unloved and isolated. Let them know the richness of God's love and mercy and that they are never alone.

We pray for all who are refugees and those who have been affected by war, violence, and terror.
We pray that peace will prevail upon Earth.

Gentle Spirit, we pray for all the vulnerable and the least of these whom you call us to love and care for.

Take our bodies, minds, and spirits and use them in loving service to all.

Gentle Spirit, may we use our mindfulness skills that we may ever be thoughtful and thankful each minute that we live, move, and just be.

Give us voices to speak for the voiceless, speak truth to power, and to sing your praises loudly up into the celestial spheres.

Gentle Spirit, we pray for all caregivers that they may receive respite and learn to take care of themselves and if necessary do GPS (Gentle Priority Shifting)

We pray for all those who are discerning calls to ministry and those who are seeking new life paths and those who are waiting to hear from employers if they have been hired.

Gentle Spirit, we pray for seasonable weather and rain. We pray that cool weather will make the wildfires cease and be contained.

We pray for ourselves and on behave of others remembering  especially__________________

Gentle Spirit, may we remember that every moment, day, and every breath we take is holy. May we live our lives accordingly.

We lift these our prayers in the name of Jesus the Christ who heals, saves, and makes us whole in body, mind, and spirit, Amen.
