Dear Family of Love!
I arrived safely from my journey to Ontario California, This weekend I'm attending the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles' convention. This time I drove down a day early and this is proving to be fun! Lots of friends a.k.a. family members have started to arrive too. I'm so thankful to God that I belong to the Episcopal Church where I have the opportunity to be in a wonderful church family. This family is very much like our Family of Love. This familial bond is one that grows stronger by the minute. Can you feel it? I hope you can it has the very similar qualities as the feeling God's presence. We all must draw upon God's love, compassion, mercy, justice, and above all else inclusion. God created all of us and that means God doesn't shut anyone out of God's kingdom, heaven, and family. We must remember this. I am very grateful to God for making me in God's image and likeness. That means that God doesn't create any junk only holy and loving people. God gives us all unique ministries, talents, and lives so that we aren't cookie cutter family members. Everyone in God's family has something to contribute. Don't think that you don't! You do! So on this Being Thoughtful and Thankful Thursday let us reflect on our positive gifts, skills, and our unique qualities that God has given us. Take time to jot them down! Ask yourself how these things make us a stronger, loving and compassionate, and inclusive family? You may select your own special music. I'm selecting this:

Dear God we pray for healing of all wounds brought on by our family members who have forgotten this : May we always remember this; We are one Family created in Love and of Love.
Dear God we pray for healing of all of our family members who are suffering in body, mind, and spirit. May we with you O God come to their aide and May we always remember this; We are one Family created in Love and of Love.
Dear God we pray for all who mourn and are pre-grieving losses of any kind May we rise and show them love, compassion , and lovingly respond to their needs. May we always remember this; We are one Family created in Love and of Love.
Dear God we offer our prayers for ourselves and on behalf of our family members remembering especially_______ May we always remember this; We are one Family created in Love and of Love.
Dear God, we pray these prayers and in the Name of Your only Son Jesus. Amen.

Good Night Family of Love! Do you know why I call you Family of Love? I call you this because God is Love! So we are the Family of Love (God). May our heart, spirits, and souls join together in love, peace, hope, joy, and harmony. I love you and give thanks to God for you this night and always. Tomorrow is Keeping the Faith Friday Fearlessly without Fretting.
