Words of wise wisdom and lessons learned from the past few days! Can you make up your own list?

Dear Family of Love,

Today is Take Care Tuesday and that means that we all need to take care of ourselves and others.
Today also was the dad that I had my port removed.  I'm so glad that it is out and that I don't have to have that remnant of my cancer treatment. Here are a few wise words of wisdom and lessons learned from the past few days and many of them are suitable for your fridge! Can you make up your own list? Let's give it a try tonight as part of our meditation. Mix -Handel

God is our life's Greyhound bus driver. Leave the driving to God.

Turn off the TV and pray!

Take a news fast and pray!

Don't be a beaver in your own life and dam up the whole works by not being dialed in with God, yourself, and each other.  Lovingly respond and communicate
.
Speak up for our voiceless and invisible family members!

Family is Family

Tell people what you need Ask and tell.

Give thanks at all times

Love is Love

God is Good. All the time. All the time God is Good.

Be your own BFF first, if you don't who will.

Branch out and don't forget to remember we all need a balance of roots and wings.

Follow the light and calling of  Christ without fear but with joyful expectation

Take your troubles to God and place them in the Worry/Sabbath box.

Don't be angry if certain parts of your family are dysfunctional and unresponsive, love them anyway and don't forget to lovingly respond to them.

No time for grudges and hurt.

Remember not everyone in our family is an extrovert!  Extroverts may be the ones who have trouble lovingly responding! They often have trouble reaching out and reaching in.

Cherish precious memories and carry them in your heart.

Not everything in our lives need to be photo documented. Use the memory that God gave you! We all need the sanctity of having a private life away from social media. This  means all of us who are sometimes in the public eye. Always ask before taking pictures. Some moments are private and special. Be like Mary, Jesus' mother and "Ponder these things in your heart"

Love is Love!

Live authentically and be your true selves.

Enjoy new and exciting experiences in your life.

Tell your stories with and from your heart.

Lean on each other and love all of our family members they may need us more than you'll ever know.

Take time of lots of love, laughter, and living!

Look for the good in all things and the bad will disappear.

Gracious and loving God of Wisdom we pray this night for peace in Your fragile and broken world.

Gracious and loving God of Wisdom give us wisdom to continue to wait, watch, listen, and pray daily and not get ahead of ourselves

Gracious and loving God of Wisdom give us peace in our hearts so that we may daily connect with you and not fear, hate, or be on a destructive and divisive path.

Gracious and loving God of Wisdom, instill in us the courage and strength to combat injustice, speak truth to power, be a voice for the voiceless, and shed a light and give love and care to our invisible and fragile ones.

Gracious and Loving God of Wisdom, heal our bodies, minds, and spirits, and all those who have asked us for prayer remembering this day________________

Gracious and Loving God of Wisdom, inspire us to use the wondrous gifts that you have given us to your honor and glory and for the good of your Kingdom and Creation.

Gracious and Loving God of Wisdom, enliven our hearts, quicken our steps, and may we feel the Waters of Life coursing through our veins this day and always. We ask these prayers in the name of your Son Jesus the Christ who redeems, heals, and reconciles. Amen.
