A recipe for rest, relaxation, and renewal!

Good Evening Family of Love!

Whoa! It's Wednesday already and also 2 weeks ago was New Year's Eve! What a speedy month this has been. Time is certainly an interesting fact of life we have to deal with. I have found these past few days being ill and in bed one of the weirdest times I have ever experienced alone.  When Dad was living I had to make sure his dinner and all his needs were met even when I didn't feel well. I pushed on. Now I don't have to do that! God is giving me rest time. We as caregivers and those who aren't  find ourselves without a lot of meaningful rest time. I'm suggesting that we all need to find meaningful rest time no matter who we are and what we do. Tonight I will give you A Recipe for rest, relaxation, and renewal. The most important part of this recipe comes in the forms of prayer and meditation and those we will do later but now here is the Recipe not the one made by the Baldwin Sisters on "The Waltons",

Take 5 cups of kindness for yourself.
Hydrate with the Waters of life Coursing through your veins. 2 litters of actual water is suggested.
Eat nutritiously.
Add  8 hours of sleep
You will find yourself rested.
Next for more relaxation and renewal do the following.
Unplug from all devices prior to bed time.
Take time to enjoy relaxing and renewing pursuits that are meaningful to you. Take as much time as you need.
Put your feet up. A few hours at a time
Cut loose if you have the energy.
Limit TV viewing of news
Walk  for a period that is of your choosing.
Go outside
Pray and Meditate to reconnect with all that is good and holy.

Now we meditate on the concept and need for rest, relaxation, and renewal.  Tonight  we will listen to this for our mediation and listening music. Paul Winter- Icarus and Paul Winter Sun Singer
