Love, compassion, and inclusion are the keys we need to use daily in celebrating our lives and our family members!

Dear Family of Love!

I hope everyone  had a wonderful Being Thoughtful and Thankful Thursday! Remember every day that we live is holy. If you are on Facebook or Twitter I have been posting daily wishes . Here is  Today's wish: Tell the people that matter to you that you love them and give thanks for them being in your life. I love you and give thanks to God for you being in my life. You are precious treasures and gifts to me. We need to do this every day because we just never know when this will touch our family member's life when they are feeling down, invisible, and thinking that they don't matter. I see and feel a lot of depression in this strange bird called social media. So my challenge for you for the remainder of the week is this. Don't let the people you love fall through the cracks. Tell them you love them and are here for them. I love you and I am always here for you too.  Love, compassion, and inclusion are the keys we need to use daily in celebrating our lives and the lives our family members! Who needs to wait for birthdays and anniversaries? We don't ! We shouldn't! Let's do it every day that we live, move, and be.  Do you want to know how?

Here are ways to celebrate our lives and the lives of our family members each and every day!

Tell yourself and our family members - I Love You! Not just in words but deeds.

Take  yourself and our family members out for a meal. Sing Happy Birthday to them when it isn't their birthday. This would be our song : A Very Merry Unbirthday to You!

Give the gift of your presence even when your family member isn't going through tough times ! Do it just because.

Celebrate each day by recognizing that each day that we live is holy and we are holy beings made in the image and likeness of God.

Light candles and throw yourself a party! Throw a surprise party for our family members just because. Honor yourself, your body, your mind,  your spirit, and your heart homes and your family members!

Take time to appreciate the uniquely beautiful person that you and your family members are.

Put yourself first when you get stressed out by taking yourself out for some dessert to de- stress.

Make your heart home happy by praying and giving thanks.

Make everyone you know and even strangers feel as though they are loved, matter, accepted , and included.

Be a gift yourself.  You are you know! Be a gift to our family members! We are you know!

Go outside and look around at God's creation ! Isn't it amazing? Celebrate God's Cathedral of Life.

I know this is campy but Barney the Purple Dinosaur Had a song called "I Love You"  but since this is an adult blog I won't post it ! Look on YouTube for it!  The words are good!

So dear family let us celebrate today with in each breath and heartbeat we get. God wants us to celebrate. After all every time God finished creating creation God saw it and said "It was good!"
That's celebrating!

No deep meditation today but prayers! Let us pray in joyful celebration.

God we celebrate our lives and our family members because each day that we live is worth celebrating.

God we celebrate our diversity may we lovingly accept and include everyone into this your Family of  love. May we be united as one and have the privilege of having universal human rights  that respect our dignity as your children.

God we celebrate your Cathedral of Life and the rich abundance that your provide for us each day.

God we celebrate and give thanks for homeless shelters, rescue missions, food pantries, food banks, domestic violence shelters, 211, 911, half-way houses, group homes, social service agencies, community organizers, thrift shops, and all those who serve the needs of our most vulnerable family members who are the least of these. We pay for all those who will not have shelter tonight that they may find havens away from the cold.

God we celebrate and  give thanks for caregivers, doctors, nurses, home health aids, hospice volunteers, mortuary personnel, EMTs,  In Home supportive service workers, Visiting nurses who care for all those who are ill and differently-abled. We pray this night for the healing of our youngest to the oldest family member who are ill.

God we celebrate the lives of those who have entered the Thin Places this day and in the recent past, especially those who are near and dear to us. We pray this night for all who mourn and are grieving.

God we celebrate those whom you have called to be peacemakers. We pray for peace in this fragile and broken world of yours. We remember especially those who were killed in  Paris at the Charlie Hebdo magazine. We pray also for those involved in the NAACP bombing at the Colorado chapter,
We pray for  an end to any kind of violence and better laws involving guns.

God we may we celebrate each day with you in prayer, meditation, and walking with you .

Jesus as we continue to celebrate this season of Epiphany may we be led to many amazing things that you are going to show us . We pray these our prayers in your most Holy Name. Amen.

+++++

Good Night Dear Family of Love! It's time to celebrate, give thanks, remember, and pray for each other each night and ever holy day that we live. I love you! May you feel God's and our family member's arms, love, and presence in your heart homes this night and always.

May you have, love, joy, hope, peace, and many amazing epiphanies this Epiphany season,

Sara
