Ripple 12 in the pond -Finding Wonder in God's creation

Dear Family of Love,


I hope everyone had Wonderful and Wonder-Filled Wednesday!  When was the last time you went exploring in God's Creation or as we call it the Cathedral of Life? Many of you who live in the snowy parts of the country may not be able to enjoy God's grand creation right now but sometime soon I hope that you will. We don't have to go far the experience God's creation and feel the sense of wonder that nature brings, all we have to do is look outside and then look inside of ourselves and see what God has created. Let us take time to find wonder each and every day! Where do we find Wonder in God's creation:

Outside
Inside ourselves
The forest 
The beach
The mountains 
The sky
The stars at night
Every where

 Tonight we will take time to meditate with the music of nature sounds. See if you can place yourself into the ripples in the pond. Relaxing music for 3 hours ,  you don't have to listen to it all. Place yourselves in the water and close your eyes!  When you are ready, open your eyes and breathe deeply and feel God's enlivening presence.

God, as we pray this night may we be keenly aware of  your creation and that includes us. 

God we pray that we may be mindful of the many needs our family members have.

God we pray for peace in this world and that we may yet again find beauty in nature and civilization.

God we pray for all of our family members who are ill and in need of healing.

God we  pray for all who are struggling to find you and a faith that meets their needs.

God we pray for those who are mourning and especially those who are grieving alone.

God we pray for the gift of children who see you and the world with eyes of wonder.

God we pray give thanks for the many blessings you brought into our lives this day.

God we pray for those who are preparing for confirmation, reception, and baptism at Easter.

God we pray for those who are transitioning from this earthly life to life eternal.

God we pray for____________________ and lift up these our prayers the Name of Jesus your son. Amen.
