Ripple 7 Praying for those who are in mourning and celebrating those who have died.

Dear Family of Love,

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Self-Care Saturday and that each and everyone of us took time to care for ourselves. This time of year we always are reminded about death, dying, mourning, and the grieving process as we face Good Friday. I think it is important for us to pray and remember! It is  also important to take time to get our  advanced directives done and also make that first visit to the mortuary of our choice to begin our discussion of what will become of us when we die. This is also a good time to set your funeral services down on paper and discuss them with your minister or trusted friend or relative if you don't have a faith community. Those are my tips of the day! Don't think of them as morbid but think of them as eternal life affirming. So my dear family of love let us be at prayer:
7. We will remember all those who have died and those who are mourning.
6. We will remember and pray that we may acknowledge the sacredness of life and that each day is holy.
5 We will pray for children that they may be protected from harm.
4. We will pray for strong bonds of love and friendship among all faith communities.
3.We will pray for peace in our hearts, minds, and spirits as we prepare for the week ahead.
2. We will pray for all those who are ill and those who are in need of healing.

1.We pray for all the least of these and that we may lovingly respond to their needs.

God and Creator of us all, we pray and remember all those who have died may we name them before you aloud or in our peaceful and silent hearts.

God and Creator of us all we pray for The Least of these y/our family members that we may love them and see you in them and yes God we know that many of them are our enemies and wish to do us harm. God help us to see as you see, love as you love, and be merciful as you yourself are merciful.
