The 19th Ripple in the pond! A return to the prayer walking route. Tonight is the the gentle loop.

Dear Family of Love,

I hope everyone remembered that today is Being Thoughtful and Thankful Thursday! I'm thankful for you all! How many of you are having aches and pains regarding the news of  late? I know I have. We can't go throughout the day without something tugging at our heartstrings and making us have fits of righteous anger. How do we soothe these emotions?  We do this by praying, meditating, relaxing, and walking. Tonight I hit the prayer walking trail again and it felt good to be in the cool air and feel the sun and what was left of it on my face and take photos as in the past. We all must start taking time to be at one with God, nature, and ourselves. It's also a good time to be in tune with each other. Let us take time to be together at a certain time of the day. We can prayer walk at the same time of the day or I can prayer walk and you can pray where you are.  I talk photos along the route and here are tonight's pix for you to see if you wish to try this method:

Then if you like add music: Here are tonight's selection: Hans Zimmer -Millenium or you may use Taize Mix . Use what ever genre speaks to your soul that relaxes, renews, and gives you all a time with God or your higher power.

Then if you like you may combine taking photos, listening to music, and the most important piece of them all prayer.

Begin your prayer walk or prayer time with this:

Begin by offering your walk and prayers to the glory of God.

We begin by consecrating our walk to God. We pray this prayer: God we consecrate this walk to you. Enliven our spirits, quicken our steps, and hydrate us with The Waters of Life that courses through our veins. May we be present to all those who have requested our prayers for healing and all those who are in need as we walk in God’s Cathedral of Life.

Take a few deep breaths to breathe in the Holy Spirit. Remember when God walked in the Garden of Eden at the time of the evening breeze.

God be with us as You walk with us on our joint journey of life.

God be keep our feet steady and beautiful as we walk and pray and listen to you at the time of the evening breeze.

God be in our hearts as we pray for ourselves and on behalf of others remembering___________

God we pray for all those whom we see on our walk. We pray especially for our family members who along with us are the least of these.

God we pray for the safety of all who travel and especially those whom we see on our paths.

God we pray and give thanks for God's Cathedral of Life. We pray that we may practice good conservation of God's planet's resources.

God we give thanks for ______________and guide our thoughts and minds in the right direction towards _____________________

God we pray for your many faith communities that you created may we be united in love with one another.

God we pray for justice and peace in this fragile world remembering Ferguson and all the war and terror torn areas of the world.

God we pray for universal human rights for all God's Children.

God we pray that we may do justly, love mercifully, and walk in humbleness with you and guide us to speak for the voiceless ones.

God we pray these prayers in the name of Jesus your Son. Amen.

++++++++

Or you can walk and repeat this as you breathe in and out.

++++++++

Good Night Dear Ones! I love you! May we be one with each other and united in love, mercy, and hope and inclusion.

With love,peace, and grateful thanksgiving!

Sara
