Love, Friendship, Thanksgiving, and Breaking of Bread

Good Evening Pilgrims!

I hope everyone has managed to get through the first of the Holy 3 Days (Triduum) and entered into Maundy Thursday with tender and loving hearts set to remember the events before the our Lord's Passion. Today many of you may not know that today is the first Thanksgiving (Eucharist) and that is why we at Walk With Me On our Journey call all Thursdays Being Thoughtful and Thankful Thursdays. We learn quite a few lessons on this day being thankful, allowing a family member to wash our feet and serve us as we serve them lovingly in return, we learn what it means to be a family facing a crisis and the unknown, we learn to love and love others.. Tonight let us meditate on Love, Friendship, Thanksgiving, and the Breaking of the Bread. As we meditate please listen to these pieces:

Jesus Remember Me -Taize

Eat this bread -Taize

Bless The Lord -Taize

Ubi Caritas -Taize

God we pray that we may love one another as you have commanded us to do and follow your word and example.

God we pray that the love we have for one another is inclusive and accepting of all your children.

God we pray for loving hearts that will bring peace to your fragile and broken world.

God may we love you, ourselves, and our family members in equal measure.

Jesus on that night of the Last Supper you called us friends may we all be united in a holy friendship.

Jesus may this friendship be founded upon love, harmony, and reside in our heart homes.

Jesus, may we never be afraid to make new and everlasting friendships.

Jesus we thank you for instituting the first Thanksgiving( Eucharist) as a reminder that we are one body in you.

Jesus we pray that we may ever be Thankful and be reminded that we need to put on an attitude of gratitude and practice random acts of kindness.

Jesus we add our own prayers and thanksgivings especially______________________

God, Jesus, and  Holy Spirit unite us and all our family members in the Breaking of Bread.

God, Jesus and  Holy Spirit may we eat of the living bread and feel the water of life coursing through our veins.

God , Jesus, and Holy Spirit awaken our hearts that we may keep watch tonight in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Stay With Me.... Taize

We pray these prayers in the name of  Jesus. Amen.

+++++

Good Night Dear Ones! Keep watch with Our Lord Tonight, Love one another, and Give thanks always in all times of the day and in the night hours.

I love you and Give Thanks To God for you this night and always,

Sara
