Preparing ourselves for the Holy 3 days by taking a Mini Sabbath. Very important to do ! Emotional Journeying to Come!

Good Evening Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on our Holy Week Journey!

Well we have made it to Wednesday in Holy Week ! This continues to be an emotional yet wonder-filled week on our Journey through Jerusalem. We are now stopping to prepare ourselves for the Last Supper and the Betrayal of Jesus. How would you , how would we have prepared ourselves for the  Last Supper? Let's take a bit of time pondering this during our meditation time. Then we will have a time to meditate using the labyrinth photo and have some prayer time. Today I'm calling this a period of mini-Sabbath where we take a brief rest for our feet, bodies, minds, and spirits so that when we meet Jesus, Judas, the Disciples, and the entire Maundy Thursday Cast of Characters we will be ready in thought and in deed. Here is a piece of music for meditation: John Rutter -Requiem

Now let us take a time and finger or mouse walk the labyrinth to calm our spirits and take us on a spiritual journey towards God. We meet God in the center and then afterwards we find ourselves on the way out we carry the light and the Good News that God is Love and Jesus has forgiven us all of our sins.

Thank you God for placing us on this journey towards you and by giving us time to reflect how we would prepare our selves for the Last Supper and Jesus' Betrayal.

God we pray that we may allow Jesus tomorrow to wash our feet and that we may call Jesus friend and yes that we may finally know that God is Love and that Love is the key to healing this world's misery and discord.

God we pray that we may be surefooted as we follow Jesus on the Way of Sorrows and not be afraid to help carry His Cross and Wipe His bloody and sweaty brow.

God we pray that as we draw ever closer to the Foot of the Cross we may not be afraid but see this as an opportunity to check in with you and our lives.

God tonight may we find ourselves resting and praying and taking time to be with you  and listening for your still small voice.

God teach us to love and be loving and shine your light to a world that seems only to know darkness.

God teach and show us how to be peacemakers so that we may be called Children of God.

God thank you for this day, a day to remember you and continue to be on this holy journey with you.

God we offer our prayers and thanksgivings in the silence of  our hearts for ourselves and on behalf of others:

Jesus accept these our prayers in your most Holy Name. Amen.

Good Night Dear Ones! I love you! May you have blessed rest and know that God is ever enfolding you in God's tender and loving arms.  I give God thanks for you this day and always! Tomorrow is Maundy Thursday and Being Thoughtful and Thankful Thursday so we have quite a lot of important spiritual stuff to sink our souls into. Take time to rest, our journey will take us deeper and closer to God in ways we aren't expecting.

With love, prayers, and blessings!

Sara
