Time for a friendly reminder that having fun is part of making those lemons of life into lemonade! A single prayer for Nepal is included.

Good Late Evening Dear Family!

This is going to be a short blog. Hopefully!I'm requesting that our only main prayers be made for the people and nation of Nepal.

This is our once a month friendly reminder that having fun is part of making those lemons of life into lemonade! Fun and diversion are necessary for one's body, mind, and spirit.  If you haven't had any fun and diversion this weekend I suggest that you find some. Tonight let's ask ourselves as we settle back and have a time of relaxation and renewal:What kinds of things bring us joy, put a lilt in one's voice, quickens our steps and makes life worth living?

Walking is one of my greatest joys and I even did the 5 mile 1/2 and 1/2 contemplative and prayer walk combo. While I walk, pray and am being contemplative I enjoy taking pictures! Here are a few and if they speak to you in some way please offer prayers. Please remember that tonight's main prayer focus is on the people and nation of Nepal. Please pray also for all those who are on climbing expeditions.

There's a dove in the tree!

This bird had a red belly!

Gracious and loving God we pray for all those who have been affected in anyway in the disaster in Nepal. We pray for all those who have lost their lives, livelihoods, loved ones. We pray also for the many climbers in the many climbing expeditions  making their way to Mt. Everest.  We pray for those who lost their lives in the avalanches. We pray for the first responders and emergency and international aid agencies coming to their help. We pray for the government and people of Nepal that they may be able to work together for their common good and ask many other nations and surrounding areas for help. We pray this in Jesus' most holy Name. Amen.

Good Night Dear Ones! I love you and Give thanks to God for you this night and always!

With love, joy, and blessings!
