Rest is the keyword this afternoon. Heeding our body's call to rest and pray!

Dear Family of Love,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Day of Sabbath rest and Good Shepherd Sunday. Today I gave my prayer walking legs a rest because they needed them. Our bodies tell us many things in languages that we all need to learn and pay attention to. So my legs told me to rest. So I'm resting and heeding their calls to do this. I hope all of you took time for resting, relaxing, and renewal this weekend.  God wants us to rest, relax, and renew too. It comforts God to know that we are being mindful and care for the protective layer of our souls. Tonight I'm suggesting that we all get rest by doing the curly q virtual labyrinth and have prayers directed towards rest.

Tonight's listening music! Featured in last evening't prayer walk!

God we pray for the rest of our bodies, minds, and spirits this night and always.

God we pray for all the people in Nepal who have lost their lives and those who are coming to their aid.

God we pray for all the least of these our family members that they may find rest and safe lodging.

God we pray for peace in the world that all the violence may cease and that warriors may rest from their labors and lay down the weaponry of hate and division.

God we pray for all who mourn that they may find rest tonight from their grief and give their tender hearts  a time of kindness.

God we pray for all children who have forgotten how to be children and are being robbed of childhoods. May they find rest in recess.

God we pray for all who are dying and those who have died that they may rest  from their earthly labors.

God we pray for all who have anxieties this night that they may rest their minds and received a holy night's rest.

God we pray for all who are ill that they may get rest during the healing process.

God we pray for all who are awaiting the results of medical tests may they find peace tonight and worry less tomorrow.

God we pray that we may love to the brim to overflowing and find rest in that love.
