Been up since 3 in the morning and still feeling great!

Dear Family of Love! 

What a long day this has been but I'm doing well. I will be on Mountain time not Pacific time for almost a week. I hope everyone had a Wonderful and Wonder-filled Wednesday. Flying out of Santa Maria at 6 was a challenge because I needed to be up very early ! How early you ask? 3 in the morningish. The first flight was uneventful but the second one  from San Francisco was supposed to put me there at around 11:30 Mountain time but alas the plane from Reno kept being delayed  but wait there's more they kept changing the gate from Gate 80 to Gate 77b and then back to Gate 80 needless to say I had quite a bit of walking to do today. Finally everything worked out for the best. As we were getting ready for take off I looked up at he  overhead bin across the way and saw that someone had but an urn in that compartment. This wasn't a run of the mill coffee urn! You guessed it a departed loved one was making his/her final journey on the plane. We had a wonderful driver who picked us up and got us to Zermatt. I am sharing a suite/Villa  with a friend of mine and it comes complete with a kitchen and dinnerware for 8.  This evening we had dinner at the Blue Boar Inn and it was a beautiful setting. We ate outdoors. I had the Blue Boar Salad, the Seared Salmon, and cheesecake for desert. Lots to be thankful for today.Tonight we will return to an old practice of praying in place with prayers and without our usual breathing and meditation time. 

God of peace we pray for all who have lost their lives in Charleston, South Carolina in the latest shooting in one of the Old African American churches.

God of light illumine all of our family members who wish to do harm to others and ultimately themselves by their actions.

God of mercy we pray that we may learn what it means to be merciful.

God of Love help us to be more loving, more giving, more kind, more, more, more,

God of Understanding, help us to learn from each other and learn at the feet of your son who is our Teacher and Friend.

God we pray for the grieving and those who have yet to know grief that they may be comforted.

God we pray for all who are ill in body, mind, and spirit who are in need of wholeness and healing.

God we pray for all who are dying and those who have died today that them may feel your loving and warm arms around them as the pass from this life into light.

God of Peace we continue to pray for all the troubled and violent areas of the world that Love and peace may reign.
