Resting and Preparing for the Week Ahead!

Dear Family of  Love,

I hope everyone had a beautiful day of Sabbath rest and that we are well on our way to having a good week ahead. Today I'm on rest detail and in preparation for the Order of the Daughters of the King (R)  / DOK Triennial in Midway Utah at the Zermatt Resort beginning on Wednesday the 17th through Tuesday the 23rd. of  June. Lots to do and to think about to get ready. You will still receive your daily blogs every day so not to worry. Sometimes weekends are work days too. That doesn't mean that we all have to give up having our time(s) with God and allowing for rest, renewal, and introspection. What we all need to remember in our lives is the word Balance and making sure we stop the glorification of busy. Tonight let's have a period of breathing exercises and a virtual prayer walk with our labyrinth. We will have our daily prayers as usual.

Loving and Gentle God, calm our anxieties, fears, and all those things that make us feel uneasy as we await the week ahead.

Loving and Gentle God, we pray for all of our family members who are out of school and haven't any place to go and do not have access to good nutrition in the Summer months.

Loving and Gentle God, we pray for the safety of all of our most vulnerable family members who  need your care and protection.

Loving and Gentle God, watch over all the least of these our family members who lack safe shelter, nourishing meals, and warm and protective clothing.

Loving and Gentle God, we pray for all of our family members who are ill and who are in need of healing and health. Help us to know that healing doesn't always mean cure.

Loving and Gentle God, we pray for all who are seeking inclusion and justice at every level of society.

Loving and Gentle God, we pray for peace in this world and in our hearts. We pray for an end to violence, abuse, and terror.

Loving and Gentle God, help us to lay our heads down and get the rest we need.

Loving and Gentle God, be with those who are newly grieving and those who continue on grief's long journey.

Loving and Gentle God,, we pray for all who are dying and who have transitioned into your loving and joyful heavenly home.
