I can't believe that it is the first Take Care Tuesday of the month! Prayers for the caregivers

Good Evening Dear Family!

I hope and pray that everyone had a wonderful day and that you feel refreshed and renewed. I can't believe that we are in June already and that this is the first Take Care Tuesday of the month. Yes I did get to walk tonight and it was the Whole Holy #3 ! This might be a good time for all of us to set down on paper or in a document on our computers our Body, Mind, and Spirit goals for the summer. This will give our lives focus and meaning without having to struggle. This a suggestion to help us get through the long Summer season. We aren't going to to do this tonight but it is an exercise for all of us to do when we choose to.  Let us begin our Take Care Time tonight by being still for a time and do our breathing exercises let's do as many as we'd like until we feel relaxed and at peace.

Inhale the Holy Spirit

Exhale Love.

Inhale the Holy Spirit

Exhale Love.

Inhale the Holy Spirit

Exhale Love.

Inhale the Holy Spirit

Exhale Love.

Now let us do our virtual Labyrinth with our mouse as if they were our feet!  But first let us remember the prayer of St. Teresa of Avila to set our meditative tone

As we pray this night let us focus our minds, hearts, and spirits upon all who are caregivers . Let us also listen to the following musical messages:

The Servant Song

We are Called

God we pray and give thanks for all caregivers of every kind especially:
Spouses
Partners
Lovers Grandparents
Children who take care of parents,
Parents
Foster Parents
Uncles and Aunts
Brothers and sisters
Cousins,
Godparents
Godchildren
Clergy
Nurses
Doctors
Hospice Volunteers
First Responders
CNAs
Home health aids
EMTs
Law Enforcement Personnel
Mortuary personnel
Friends
Church groups
Religious communities
Animal caretakers
Teachers
Daycare providers
Social Workers

God we pray for them all and we pray for us who are actively involved in the ministry of caregivers.

God we pray for caregivers who help our family members who are ill and in need of help to get well and heal.

God we pray for the caregivers who take care and tend to our family member's bodies after death and we pray that they may find light in their lives.

God we pray for the caregivers who help and comfort those who are in mourning

God we pray for all clergy caregivers who don't realize that is what they are doing.  Help them to find respite.

God we pray for ourselves and on behalf of others who have asked us to pray remembering______________

God we pray for caregivers who are seeking to find help for the people they serve each and every day.

God let us be each other's servants with loving hearts, and  tender spirits. May love, mercy, kindness and compassion be our watch and action words as we do this. Help us O God to know that we are doing this for the least of these  as we are all the least of these and family members too.

God we lift these our prayers in the Holy Name of Jesus the Caregiver of us all. Amen.

+++++++

Good Night Dear Ones ! I love you! As your nightly caregiver through this blog, I have your back and this is your soft place to fall. May you rest gentle in the knowledge that you are loved, matter, and are precious in God's eyes and our eyes too.

With love and peace always,

Sara
