#AdventWord #Be Hash Tags with Meaning ! Day 9 of our Advent Adventure: It's Mindfulness Monday on You Matter Monday!

Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on Our Advent Journey,

Happy You Matter Monday. Remember everyone and every living thing matters. Today's #AdventWord is #Be. Tonight we are going to spend time making today into Mindfulness Monday where we will take time to just sit and be. We won't be turning on the TV instead we will be engaging in holy silence. These days we need to spend more time with God than everything on TV. It is time for us to enter into God's presence and work on our relationship with God.  There's  no getting around it we are living in upsetting times and our hearts are troubled. God doesn't want our hearts this way so that brings us to spending more quiet time in the presence of the holy. Whatever you are doing put it away. What ever you are thinking write it down and save it for another day or time. What ever needs to go into the Worry/Sabbath Box, Jar, or Notebook needs to be added now. After you do this return here for further information.

Our #AdventWord for today is # Be. What is on the list for tomorrow_________________?

Let us light a candle and be at peace.

Do your calming and reassuring breathing exercises with this:

Be Still and know that I am God
Be Still and know
Be Still.
Be

Do this as many times as you need to. We need to calm ourselves and find our way back to a good equilibrium.

Now just be!

Relax as you look at the ripples in the pond.

Now let us light another set of candles and be at prayer:

Let us embrace the holy in prayer :

How do I embrace the holy?

I embrace the holy by acknowledging that everything that God created is holy.
I embrace the holy by showing my love for all of my family members.
I embrace the holy by speaking out for the voiceless and invisible.
I embrace the holy by loving my enemies and those who hate.
I embrace the holy by practicing peaceful non-violence.
I embrace the holy by accepting and including everyone into our family of love.
I embrace the holy by being an ally for all those who are seeking universal human rights.
I embrace the holy by being a good steward of God's Cathedral of Life.
I embrace the holy by accepting God's call.
I embrace the holy by following Jesus and being his sister, friend and walking the walk and talking the talk as He Does everyday in our lives.
I embrace the holy by remembering to pray daily.
I embrace the holy by walking with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit on life's path and journey.

How do you embrace the holy?

We embrace the holy this night in prayer and in the stillness , in the longing, and seeking to be in your loving presence O God.

Calm our hearts O God, and let us  be at one with you .

Holy God we give thanks for our voices that we may speak truth to power and be the voice of the voiceless.
Calm our hearts O God, and let us  be at one with you .

Holy God we give thanks for your healing power that you are doing in the lives of  those who are ill  in body, mind, and spirit.  We pray especially for ____________

Calm our hearts O God, and let us  be at one with you .

Holy God we give thanks for ears and hearts to hear your still small voice.

Holy God we give thanks for the least of these as a reminder that we may never become hard, cold, or complacent.
Calm our hearts O God, and let us  be at one with you .

Holy God we give thanks for the lives of those who now reside in the Thin Places.
Calm our hearts O God, and let us  be at one with you .

We pray for all who mourn and may we step up and lovingly respond with comfort and compassion.

Good Night Dear Ones! I love you ! I give thanks to God for you always.  May we calm our hearts, ease our fears, love each other as if we are looking into each person and seeing our loving God who made us. Tomorrow is Take Care Tuesday. Let us take care of ourselves so that we may take care of others.

With love, joy, peace, and hope,

Sara
