#adventword #worship Hash Tags with Meaning. Day 6 on our Advent Adventure

Dear Family of Love,

Happy Keeping the Faith Friday Fearlessly Without Fretting! Today I'm in Ontario California attending The Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles' Diocesan Convention. I am thoroughly enjoying being an alternate delegate and getting to see family members Today's #AdventWord is Worship. We worshiped today and then some. We had a worship experience that made our souls take flight and made us all feel like we were one beautiful worshiping family.Worship is so very important as a faith family. When we worship God we get to journey together into God's presence. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it is when we worship with over 800 people at one time. The power and life giving food we receive when we pray is like no other. So tonight let us worship together simply and in the presence of God.

Our key #AdventWord is #Worship our next one is______________
#Believe.

Let us Light a candle and be at prayer.

Prayers and extra prayers from the BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER

Let us be at prayer.

In the Evening
O Lord, support us all the day long, until the shadows
lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is
hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done.
Then in thy mercy, grant us a safe lodging, and a holy rest,
and peace at the last. Amen.

 Before Worship
O Almighty God, who pourest out on all who desire it the
spirit of grace and of supplication: Deliver us, when we draw
near to thee, from coldness of heart and wanderings of mind,
that with steadfast thoughts and kindled affections we may
worship thee in spirit and in truth; through Jesus Christ our
Lord. Amen.

Lord in your Love,
Hear our prayer.

We pray these our prayers in the Name of your Son Jesus.
Lord in your Love,
Hear our prayer.

A Prayer attributed to St. Francis
Lord, make us instruments of your peace. Where there is
hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where
there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith; where
there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where
there is sadness, joy. Grant that we may not so much seek to
be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is
in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we
are born to eternal life. Amen.

For Our Enemies

O God, the Father of all, whose Son commanded us to love
our enemies: Lead them and us from prejudice to truth;
deliver them and us from hatred, cruelty, and revenge; and in
your good time enable us all to stand reconciled before you;

through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

After Worship
Grant, we beseech thee, Almighty God, that the words which
we have heard this day with our outward ears, may, through
thy grace, be so grafted inwardly in our hearts, that they may
bring forth in us the fruit of good living, to the honor and
praise of thy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Good Night Dear Family.I love you and give thanks to God for you this night and always. Remember tomorrow is Self-Care Saturday.  Self- care makes us better people.

With Love, hope, Joy, and peace,
Sara
