As people of faith and family members in the household of God we must have hearts and spirits that are filled with courage to meet each of the daily challenges of life and to follow the paths that God has specifically designed just for us. This morning in my morning greeting I placed this on Facebook.

Good Morning Dear Family! Happy Being Thoughtful and Thankful Thursday! Today's ‪#‎AdventWord‬ is ‪#‎Dare‬! I #Dare everyone who is being triggered by the negativity in social media to use that energy for good and positive change in your communities and the world. Use Love Energy not Hate Energy. Radiate God's love and light!

Tonight I dare each and everyone of us to be the change in the world and to each other that God wants and is calling us to be. What is God daring us to do in God's Compassionate, Accepting, Loving , and Merciful Name? This is our meditation for this evening.

Let us remember tonight's #advent word is #dare what is tomorrow's_______? Does that give you a clue as to what we are to do?

Now let us listen to two songs from David Haas  Voices that Challenge and John Bell The Summons

After we spend time meditating on the #AdventWord #Dare Let us light a candle or virtual candle and be at prayer.

God we pray this night and always that you will help us have courage to pray, serve, and always love you, our family members and neighbors, and ourselves.

God we pray that you will wake us up when we are complacent and in need of paying attention to the needs of your world that you set our hands, feet, and eyes upon each day. Keep gently in the mornings to hear you say "#WakeUp!"

God we pray that we may have courage to #proclaim your God News which is Good News to a fragile and broken world and that we be the human and living Bible of your Living Word Jesus.

God we pray that we may #give of ourselves in CALM (Compassionate, Accepting, Loving, and Merciful)ways.

God we pray that we may learn how to #forgive those who are our enemies and those who hate us. We pray for the forgiveness of any sin we have committed this day.

God help us always to be able to #repent and be at one with you.

God we pray that we may learn to #worship anywhere and to remember wherever we are that is a holy place for worship.

God help us to #believe when we sometimes don't feel like we truly are. God we pray for those who have trouble believing that you are truly Love and Mercy.

God we pray that we may learn and seek to #care for the least of these. We pray for all of our family members who are the least of these this night who are homeless, hungry, and ill- clad.

God help us we pray to sit and just #be.

God  we give you thanks for the many blessings and daily surprises you give us especially___________ Help us to be a loving and positive #Surprise in someone's life

God help us to learn how to #ask and not beg and know the difference. Help us out of the gimme, gimme, gimmes to place of give, give, give of ourselves in love and mercy.

God give us daily and life giving #Dares so that we may follow you wherever you lead boldly with Compassion, Acceptance, Love, and Mercy  by giving the world in which we live the Lights of Love, Joy, Hope, and Peace.

We lift up these our prayers this night in the Holy Name of Jesus. Amen.

Good Night Dear Ones! I love you! I give thanks to God for you this night and always!  Tomorrow is Keeping the Faith Friday Fearlessly without fretting! I dare each of us to pray for our enemies and smile at a stranger and be at prayer for those who hate us. I dare us to be the change in God's fragile and broken world.

With love, peace, joy, and hope!

      Sara
