#AdventWord #Wait Hash Tags With Meaning : Our Advent Adventure and waiting period continues!

Dear Family of Love!

Happy Self-Care Saturday! I'll bet you have been waiting for this greeting haven't you?  Waiting is an important part of our lives. Learning to wait isn't the easiest skill we have to do. Advent is a waiting period. This waiting period is like no other, it has excitement and anticipation. Remember this song by Carly Simon- Let us take a journey back to the vaults: Anticipation - Mary must have had to grapple with lots of anticipation and imagine God was finding all sorts of interesting things that were connected with becoming an incarnate being. Picturing God playing the waiting game is an interesting concept but at the same time what better model do we have when we must learn to wait. God isn't the poof and it whatever God created it was instantly there. No, waiting was involved. We have to become good at waiting! What are the things you have trouble waiting for? I guess you know that I'm asking each of us to make up our own #Wait List. I guess you have been waiting for today's #AdventWord? It is #Wait!

Remember again that our #AdventWord is #Wait and we must look ahead to tomorrow's #AdventWord_______________

I'm not going to keep us waiting any longer, let us do our meditation on the #AdventWord #Wait, formulate our #Wait List and learn how to stay in God's presence and wait on God with a heart full of love and patience in our inner beings. Remember waiting involves being CALM (Compassionate, Accepting, Loving, and Merciful)

Let us Light our virtual candles and be a prayer.

We wait for you God in the silence of our inner being to learn what you have to tell us. Help us to wait with open hearts and open spirits.

We wait for you God as we take time to be in relationship and holy listening with you.

We wait for your voice O God, as we wait and listen to what we are called to do and to be.

We pray for peace in this world. We pray that we may have patience to become God's peacemakers and the patience and resolve to world towards it.

We pray for our family members who are refugees, captives victims of violence and all the least of these nearby and far away.

We pray for our family members who are ill and awaiting diagnosis this time of year.

We pray for all of our family members who are pre-grieving and awaiting loved ones to transition into the Thin Places.

As we await again to celebrate your son's incarnation give us the grace to wait with joyful anticipation and to stop the glorification of busy.

We pray for_________________

We give thanks for__________________

God we lift up these our prayers in your only begotten Son's Name. Amen.

Good Night Dear Ones! I love you! May you all have a blessed and restful night. I give thanks to God for you this night and always! Continue to practice self care and Sabbath Rest this weekend.

With love, joy, hope, and peace,

Sara
