Finding the strength to add more miles ! Knowing that God is in charge of our footsteps!

Dear Family of  Love, 

I hope everyone was able to fine beauty of some kind this day. It isn't always easy but there is always something that will touch and warm your eyes and hearts. This gets back to our favorite topic, gratitude and seeing God in God's Cathedral of life. I'm more and more convinced that we all need to unplug, go outside, and take it all in wherever we may be. If you live in a city find it there, if you are in the countryside find it there, if you are in  places x, y, and z find it in all of these places. I think this song by John Rutter says it best let's take a listen to,  Look at the World   Today it was very overcast here in Santa Maria, and sometimes I don't feel like doing the prayer walk work and the energy in finding the strength to add more miles. The best thing is knowing that God is in charge of our footsteps and that means sometimes those foot and energy bobbles are God's way in making us realize either we need rest or we need to rely on God more fully, Tonight write down what kind of bobbles you are experiencing  and pray for calm and peace of mind.   As you do here is one of the albums that was featured on tonight's prayer walk:

Gracious God help us have courage and strength to go extra miles for you and others.

Gracious God help our feet be made sure and our footing be on stable ground.

Gracious God we pray and give thanks for your Cathedral of Life that we may practice loving conservation of the natural resources you provide for us.

Gracious God we pray for all who are ill that they may be healed and have strength and patience in their illnesses.

Gracious God we pray for peace, justice, equality, and mercy in this fragile and broken world.

Gracious God we pray that love will be the key to end all division and hatred.

Gracious God we pray for all who mourn the losses of jobs and loved ones.
