Infinity walks and singing to the God in God's Cathedral of Life

Dear  Family of Love!

I had the privilege of doing the 5 mile walk earlier today and then the 3 mile walk this evening on  a beautiful You Matter Monday! Remember last evening I told you about the etchings in the pavement?
Well I paid close attention to them today and am working on a song that I will share soon with you but here are the lyrics so far;

Etchings in the pavement
Count them one by one
Etchings in the pavement hold a mystery
What it is I do not know
Etchings in the pavement tell a history of so long ago
These are all God's children
Precious everyone
Help us not to take these names, initials for  granted ,
Precious everyone

Etchings in the sidewalk clear and undefined
Etchings in the pavement make our walking holy
Etchings in the pavement tell of lives so dear
Etchings in the pavement makes our prayerful mission even more clear.
They are all God's Children, precious everyone
Etchings in the pavement gives our feet more purpose clear and defined.
Etchings in the pavement gives our feet on the this journey prayers to say and time
These are all God's Children, precious everyone
Just like we all are etched in God Divine and God Etched his love in us beautiful, holy, and sublime.

As I have said these are rough but seeing these names, initials and finding a voice for them gave me energy to sing this night. These infinity walks with prayers, contemplation, and now singing go hand in hand to make a joyful noise to God in God's Cathedral of Life. Our prayer walking journey has become even deeper and surprising each and every day!

Tonight let's ask ourselves what and whom has God etched upon your hearts on this the first You Matter Monday of May? Take time to go deeper into the center as if you yourselves etched a pathway to God and God to you.

Tonight we will listen to The Standing Stones of Callanish -Jon Mark
Jon Mark- Celtic Cross

God this night etch upon our hearts these our prayers and make us ever mindful of all our family members.

We pray for peace in this troubled world.

We pray for an end to violence of any kind.

We pray for our brothers and sisters who haven't any food, clothing, and shelter . We pray for their  safety this night.

We pray for the people of Baltimore and Nepal and all who are coming to their aid and comfort.

We pray for all of our family members who are ill that they may be healed and comforted.

We pray for all who are vulnerable remembering especially this day refugees, victims of human trafficking, and women and children who are abused.

We pray for all who are grieving at all stages of the grieving process.

We pray for all who have died today and pray that they had a gentle and loving journey into the Thin Places.

We pray for all who are seeking universal human rights and equality.

We pray that love may be the key to peace, understanding, acceptance, and inclusion.

We pray for ____________________

We give thanks for____________________

We lay these our prayers and thanksgivings in the arms  of Jesus the Christ. Amen.
