Prayer walking Feet and Feet that Bring Good News!

Dear Family of Love!

Well we have walked the Whole Holy #3, 6 days out of 7! That's something to celebrate and it makes my legs and heart sing! I hope everyone has started or is at least doing some kind of physical fitness because as I have said to many "If you lose your legs, you lose your life!" So this week try to at least to take a walk and begin with a time of 15 minutes and gradually build up to whatever time you choose. Walking was key in our lessons today at church. We see Jesus and Peter walking on the water and Paul giving us  in Romans the beautiful portion of scripture "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news". Walking played a central role as one of the chief modes of transportation in biblical times. So if walking was good for God and Jesus it is good for us. Remember we walk at the same time God did in the Garden "At the time of the evening breeze. Tonight we will have time to  pray at the center and then have a time of prayer. You may use a timer or listen this piece from Messiah by Handel

How Beautiful are the Feet- Handel

Jesus, may we be your feet and voice to bring good news to God's broken world.

Jesus, we pray that we may be quick to respond and walk and run to respond to those in any need  or trouble.

Jesus, make our feet swift and beautiful for thee as in the words of the  hymn.

Jesus, may we use our feet to bring peace to God's broken world by stamping out injustice.

Jesus, may we give our feet to you and show us where we are called to go and do what you'd have us do.

Jesus, we pray for all those who are in need of healing.  May we help bring love, compassion, and aid to them.

Jesus, may we walk and not be weary and run and not be faint. Keep us strong as you have called us to Walk With Me on Our Journey.

Jesus, may we always be ready to respond to the least of these.

Jesus give us healthy bodies, minds, and spirits to serve you.

Jesus give our family members the courage to ask for help and  may their unspoken prayers be heard.

Jesus we pray for all refugees who are fleeing danger on foot.

Jesus, we pray for peace in the Middle East and in Iraq give us courage to love and support all those who are facing terror and violence. Not in words but deeds!

Jesus, may we walk in the light and be the light to all of our family members wherever they may be.

All these our prayers, thanksgivings, remembrances, and celebrations we lift up to you Jesus. Amen.

Good Night Lovely family I wish I could walk over to wherever you are and  meet you all in person and give you a big hug that will take pain and hurt away and show you that I do love and care about you. I love you and carry you all in my heart daily. May you all know that you matter, you are the light, you are the feet that brings good news to all, and you are precious treasures to me always. I give thanks to God for you this day and always.

Peace, Love, Prayers, and God's Blessings be always yours,

Sara
