Banishing our fears by taking a few much needed deep breaths and going deeper into the center.

Dear Family of Love!

How are you dear ones? I hope everyone took time for rest and self-care today. If you didn't you still have an almost entire weekend to to do so. It was nice to have a day out and about and have fun doing so. We all must have these kind of days. We are so blessed to be able to rest securely in knowing that God is our Greyhound bus driver and we need not fear. Fear is what stops us in our tracks. Let's not be afraid to step out in faith, courage, and love and change the world. Deep breaths  help us out the most when we get scared. This brings us back to our breathing exercises that we will do today. First get out your timers, apps, or mindfulness bowl app and set it for 10 to 15 minutes and close your eyes and just be.

Here is a musical selection to keep you in the Om Zone prior to our prayer time.

Let us be at prayer:

God who taught us to rest may we lay down our burdens tonight

God we pray for the safety of all our troops and  that peace may prevail in all the war torn areas of the world.

God we pray for all our family members who are ill that they may be healed of  all their infirmities.

God  we pray for all of our family members who are struggling with life'difficulties.

God we give thanks for all that you give us each and everyday that we live, move, and just be.

God we praise you from the deepest depths of our hearts and souls that we may never forget that joy is one of the Fruits of the Spirit.  May we release the joy and show it to  others.

God we pray for all caregivers that they may find respite and be able to let go of all that is unnecessary . May they also have the courage to say "No".

God we pray that justice, peace, and mercy may reign up this Your fragile and broken world.

God  we pray for all the faith communities you created. Bring us together that we may share what we have in common one to another.

God take away all bitterness, suspicion, hate, fear and all that divides and does not knit us into the loving family God created.

God may we give comfort and compassion to all who mourn and are in the long journey  that is the grieving process.

God may become your beacons of hope and that we may show who you really are, the God of Love and Goodness.

God we add prayers for ourselves and those who have asked us for prayers on behalf of others remembering especially____________

God we pray for rain to shower upon the drought parched areas of the world and in our country.

God we pray that we may become good stewards of God's Cathedral of Life.

God we lift these our prayers in the name of  your son Jesus the Christ. Amen.
