A look Back and a look forward! Approaching Walk With Me on Our Journey's First Anniversary!

Dear Family of Love and pilgrims on our Journey,

Here is the Facebook Look Back Theme, click on the blue link and that will get us started for this evening's blog! Let's take time to look back and then look forward in joyful thanksgiving.
The blog started out with this name: The Melodious Meanderings of a Pedestrian Photographer, that didn't last long! Because God had other plans for our journey. It wasn't long until I got the call from God that I was to prayer walk, take pictures, and take prayer requests and then as a response to all of the 3, write a blog and not just any blog and as with our many people in the Bible who underwent name changes the blog received its new name Walk With  Me On Our Journey. As a person of faith and new to this creative medium I was sure that it wasn't going to last very long but, when God is your tour guide and gives you the daily pallet to take beautiful pictures and mystical photos you know something wonderful is going to happen. God even set the time for walking to match when God walked in the Garden of Eden at the time of the evening breeze. God also manages to give me the material and inspiration to write this blog everyday. It's like God said "Write the message and make it plain on tablets!" God has done many marvelous things with us this year! I now have a ready to go presentation if anyone wants me to come and speak on Walk With Me On Our Journey, We have a Facebook group page which is nearing 100 likes,  we minister all over the country and all over the world, we have many readers who are clergy who are not exclusively Episcopalian, lay people and we reach out to many who have been finding it difficult to wrap their arms around the concept of a Loving and Merciful God, Every evening we receive many prayer requests and we pray them on the Whole Holy #3 miles or in place.

Where is God leading us ? As I write this on pre-Chemo eve, I'm both humbled and excited to see where God is leading me and us. I know this that we can't put the Genie back into the bottle. After the following Stats today, I don't think it is possible. The people at Blogger have a different time frame.

I'm hoping that we will begin to look toward's publishing the blog into book form  It needs to be read by our family members who aren't online.

Tonight we will pray in list form instead of  written intercessions.  Just to clue everyone in, we are in the Jesus cycle of prayers for these 3 groups of 4 chemo treatments. The first 4 were dedicated to God, the second 4 are dedicated to Jesus, and the third and final 4 are dedicated to the Holy Spirit. So tomorrow we return to intercessions with Jesus at the beginning of the  prayers.

Tonight I bid your prayers for:
That we may sew seeds of love, joy, hope, peace, and be the light to all who are in dark places of any kind.
Peace in the war torn areas of the world.
Peace between Arabs, Palestinians, Christians, and Jews and all those who claim Abraham as their Patriarch
For all refugees, immigrants, political prisoners, strangers, and all  of our family members with whom there is division and not love.
For the safety and protection of children
For those awaiting diagnoses of any kind
For all of those seeking justice, equality, and acceptance
For the homeless, hungry, lonely, lost, and those who feel invisible
For all people awaiting surgery and those in recovery now.
For all those living with mental illness and memory related illnesses.
For all family members who are ill in body, mind, and spirit
For family members who are victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse
For all those who are burnt out and need respite/
For those seeking housing and employment
For all those who are artists
For rain and protection from wild weather
For those who have lost their lives due to wild weather and lightening strikes
For those who have died and are dying
For caregivers, hospice workers, and those in the mortuary ministry.
For clergy and religious leaders
For peace makers
Additional prayers, thanksgivings, celebrations, and remembrances
We lift up these our prayers to Jesus. Amen.

Good Night Dear Family of Love! I love you and I give God Thanks for you this day and always. We will go into the next year of Walk With Me On Our Journey with love in our hearts, spirits enlivened, steps quickened, and the Water of Life Coursing through our veins! May we continue to pray and be good caregivers of our bodies, minds, and spirits. May we love boldly, pray unceasingly, live as Jesus did, and Laugh like Sarah everyday that we live, move and be!

With love, joy, peace and blessings!

Sara
