Sunny Sunbeams Lighting our pathway! Praying for peace

Dear Family of Love,

Tonight I would like to share with you the photos from tonight's walk first so that you can see the sunny sunbeams lighting our pathway on our journey: We all need a day brightener so that we may pray for peace and anything else that is on our hearts and minds today.

Tonight and for the week upcoming that we all be praying for peace in our world and within ourselves.

God  we pray that we may find peace within ourselves and in the lives of our family members.

We pray for peace in your world. especially in all the holy places that are loved and revered by Christianity, Islam, and Judaism.

We remember all of your children who are in Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Afghanistan, Israel, Egypt, and the Palestinian Authority. We pray for peace and an end to all the warring factions.

We pray this night for all our family members who are refugees who long to live in peace and safety and long to find a home and country where they may live, work, and love in peace.

We pray for peace in our cities, towns, and all places where there has been violence of any kind.

We pray for peace in our schools, workplaces, and homes.

We pray for peace and justice in our government and in all places of the world where our family members struggle to gain freedom, human rights, and all the privileges we enjoy in this country.

We pray for peace among all nations and leaders that boundaries and treaties may be respected and honored.

We pray that we may find peace in our souls so that we may be able to spend time in contemplation and conversation with You O God.

We pray this night for all who are ill  and in much need of peace to be able to heal properly

We pray  for all those who have made prayer requests and we lay the names of these our family members at your feet especially___________________

We give thanks this day for times of rest, peace, joy and especially for__________________

All this we ask in Jesus' most holy name. Amen.
