Celebrating 400 blog posts! Another milestone! A Reflection

Dear Family of Love!

It's time to celebrate 400 blog posts! Yes it is true that we have had 400 posts of Walk With Me On Our Journey since we started our prayer walking pilgrimage almost a year ago. Walk With Me On Our Journey will celebrate its first anniversary on Tuesday the 29th of July. What does this all mean? It means that we continue on our journey and God is our travel agent and trail master. Every time I put my fingers on the keyboard I never know what God will have me write, impart, the prayers that He calls me to pray and create. All I know is that I have faith and know that God empowers me to write and connect with each of you on a more profound level each day. You all are truly fellow pilgrims and family members on this journey  of  ours. I love you and give thanks to God for you this day and always.  As we celebrate these milestones may we never forget that we are called to be together by God   and pray for the least of these and all of our family members who are experiencing troubling situations not just here but around the world. We are called to be love, light, comfort, accepting and compassionate family members to all whom we meet every day. Tonight let our spirits be enlivened, our hearts tenderized and expanded, our steps quickened , and may we feel the Living Waters of life coursing through our veins and be at prayer.

Lord Jesus, we come to you with thanksgiving for being able to prayer walk and connect to our family members with Walk With Me On Our Journey.

Jesus, we pray for all who are suffering and are in need of healing of body, mind, and spirit.

Jesus, comfort all those who are living with cancer and any autoimmune disease.

Jesus, protect all those who are in danger this night in our cities, towns, states, and nations of the world.

Jesus, we pray for all who have died and are dying today may they find their entry into eternal joy a peaceful journey where they are welcomed into your Father's loving arms.

Jesus, we pray for peace in the world that we may become peacemakers not agents of hate and division. May we sew seeds of joy, hope, and love to all of our family members.

Jesus, we pray for all families that are going through tough times and estrangement.

Jesus, we pray for all refugees, immigrants, political prisoners, and all those who are seeking freedom.

Jesus, we pray that we may be good stewards of God's Cathedral of life and become better at conservation.

Jesus, help us to be good at self-care and go over to the other side of the lake to rest and pray.

Jesus, we pray for all caregivers and all the Martha's and Mary's.

Jesus, may we always have an attitude of gratitude and never take anything or anyone for granted.

Jesus, may we become the loving family members you are calling us to do and be.

Jesus, we pray for peace in the Middle East and all the holy places where you, the patriarchs, prophets, and apostles walked. We pray that peace and common sense may prevail.

Jesus, protect all the war torn places in the world and all those who are victims of oppression, terror, injustice, and human rights of any kind.

Jesus, we pray for all of our animal companions and give them our best care and protection. We pray for an end to animal cruelty.

Jesus, give us the courage to speak truth to power and speak for the voiceless and marginalized.

Jesus, we offer our additional prayers, thanksgivings, and remembrances, and celebrations to you now________________

Jesus, we lift up all these our prayers to you in your Most Holy Name. Amen.
