Praying on the El Camino Real or my nightly pilgrimage on the old 101 Freeway!

Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on Our Journey!

A bit of geographical info about where I do my nightly walk! Many of you don't know that I live about a block away from a street called Broadway. Broadway is part of U.S. 101 Business and used to be the 101 freeway and it is part of the old El Camino Real. So ,every night I do walk the King's Highway and The Way! There is an old hymn called Laramie and it has these words that describe our nightly pilgrimage perfectly:

I know not where the road will lead

I know not where the road will lead
I follow day by day,
or where it ends: I only know
I walk the King's highway.
I know not if the way is long,
and no one else can say;
but rough or smooth, up hill or down,

And some I love have reached the end,
but some with me may stay,

I'm beginning to think that this is our theme song! We are on a journey not a destination and we even meet new family members and friends on the walk like we did tonight when I met Cesar. He was walking along Broadway! I actually could speak a little bit of Spanish! Thank you Dr. Noe Chavez-Magana ! I definitely am not afraid to walk the King's Highway and neither should you!
The journey we take together has all the key words that we focused in on in Advent: Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love and now we are called to be the light and follow the star in the East and meet Jesus, Mary and Joseph again along with the the three kings! We always should be following The Way and walking the El Camino Real. If we Look above and look inwardly in to our souls , we will find God's guiding compass showing us The Way and I can hear God say the same thing that he has said to us lo these many months "Won't you walk with me on our journey?" God is there in the still small voice. Will you let go and let him set your feet upon the path of the pilgrim's way?
I have. Will you take the first step? Remember why I walk? I walk for health, I walk for life and I walk to carry you and your prayer requests in my heart. I also now walk to give hope, pray for peace, bring joy, and carry love and shine God's light to the world.
