An old route as seen with new eyes!

Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on Our Journey,

A happy and blessed day to everyone! I have returned to half a loop prayer walking as of this evening! I feel good and not out of breath or in too much pain. Tonight I had an appreciation for walking, praying, and everything that is in my life. I also have found an awareness that we all need to be more loving and not be hate-filled. The tragic events of today at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park bear this out. We need to be intentionally at prayer this week for peace between all peoples, faiths, and nations! Hate in any form is unacceptable and not according to God's plan or nature. My dear family of love I invite us as part of this most holy week for both Jews and Christians to take time to take stock where we are on the hate and intolerance scale. Ask God to take away any kind of gunk that draws us away from God! A time of reflection is needed! Remember that we are all brothers and sisters!

Let us pray,

God we pray this night for those who have been victims of hate remembering those who were victims of the the shooting at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park.We pray for all those who mourn their loss. We pray for an end to Anti-Semitic acts committed against our brothers and sisters.

God we pray for peace in all the nations of the world where there is hate, injustice, political unrest and all areas where peace, justice, and equality are in short supply.

We pray for all of our religious leaders and communities who are preparing and participating in Passover and Holy Week observances.

We pray for all those who need to lay down burdens and rest and await God's healing touch during recuperation. Help us not to feel like we need to do it all and rush to get back into routine.

God we pray for those with Cancer and all other illnesses. We pray for all the medical professionals who are on their healing teams.

God we pray for the unemployed and those seeking a return to the work place. We pray that those needing to find work may find it quickly.

God we offer our prayers that are on our hearts and minds tonight especially for _________________

God may we walk the pilgrimage of this most Holy Week for our Jewish and Christian brothers and sisters in love and one with each other.

We pray these prayers in the name God the Creator of all things who loves, reconciles, and who has made us in God's image and likeness. Amen.

***************

Have a blessed night my dear family ! Tomorrow we begin our Holy Week meditation series with lots of goodies! Stay tuned! I love you! Have a blessed rest and continue to pray for the peace of the world and end to violence of pain and suffering.

Love and peace,

Sara
