Easter prayer walking complete with Spirit-filled tingles and Goosebumps!

Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on our Journey!

Alleluia The Lord is Risen!

Powerful words for a most powerful day that we have been awaiting for many days if not weeks! We find ourselves in places where we remember past events either happily or wistfully on this the Feast of Our Lord's Resurrection from the dead. Memories flood and tears flow.Today I haven't had any tears but joyful spirit-filled goosebumps  and tingles. Tonight's prayer walk was a powerful example of feeling an electric connection with the Living Christ. I almost had to pinch myself to believe the sensations throughout my body from the top of my head to the tips of my toes! Today I feel brand new and a new healthy life is now beginning with in me. That is the gift of Easter and yes, even the period Lent we drag ourselves kicking and screaming into instead of embracing it as an opportunity for planting of new life and new habits. It's a better fit for all of  our New Years Resolutions. We still need to Stop, Look,Listen and be at prayer and communion with God but this time we get to do it without the profound period of deep and sorrowful waiting but with a joyful  and uplifted heart and spirit. I think we know what's coming! Yes it is time once again to Stop, Look, Listen, and be at prayer!

 God we thank you for giving us you Son Jesus to be an example to us who are your children. May we continue to have a childlike faith and continue to grow with your guidance throughout our daily living.

 Help us O God to see the cross as the key to eternal life with you and as an agent for us to keep striving to do better and start over every minute that we live, move, do, and be.

 Give us courage even when the Sun sets to remember that you and Jesus never set on us and are always with us no matter what circumstances we find ourselves. 

 Help us to learn that growth is gradual not like instant food products or time lapsed photography.

 We pray that we may show your light to others by being, loving, merciful, compassionate, and above all else respectful of all of our family members.

 Help us never to stop sharing your Gospel message of Love and Forgiveness not only with words but by our loving acts of kindness and compassion.

 Help us to take our rest this night and journey on tomorrow as we continue to pray and walk and spread your Good News to others and those who are living in uncertainty and loneliness.

 We pray for all of our family members who have requested prayer tonight and those who are continuing to pray for the needs of others.  We pray for______________
We remember those who have died and  those who mourn their loss remembering especially___________
We Celebrate the Feast of Your Resurrection and our New Life with you and we celebrate_______________
We give thanks to you God for your Son and all our family members this day and especially___________

Let us take time to reflect upon our journey with you today.

Lord God we Lift up these prayers to you this day in the name of Jesus Your Son. Amen.
