The Whole Holy 3 mile prayer walk and setting our path towards the Holy 3 Days

Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on Our Journey,

It's is a marvelous for me to report that I walked the Whole Holy 3 Mile Prayer Walk route tonight! It
has been almost 3 weeks since surgery. For the past few days we have taken time to Stop, Look, and Listen to God and allow Holy Week to set in. It is now time to set our faces and feet towards the Holy 3 Days or if you wish to get fancy about it Triduum. We must do this in order to make Easter more real. As I have said when one is going through the grieving process, No Skipping Steps! We must take the next 3 days and give ourselves over to our emotions, thoughts, and whatever these Holy 3 days conjure up for us. I know that for me, I will attend church and prayer walk too. What will you be doing and where will you be on this part of our Holy Week Pilgrimage? Take time to Stop, Look, and Listen and be at prayer and  find your own Garden of Gethsemane to watch and pray with Our Lord again. Stay awake! Keep Watch!  It seems to me that sounds like another season, the season of Advent. Tonight as we pray and gaze upon the pictures from tonight's pilgrimage take time to Stop, Look, and Listen and ask yourself if you indeed are up to the challenge of Keeping Watch, Praying with Our Lord, and Walking with Him on His Journey to the Cross and beyond. Where will you be the next Holy 3 days?

God help us to Stop, Look, and Listen as we pray and prepare for the Holy 3 Days. May we find ourselves yet again watching and praying with  Your Son Our Lord.

May we take time as the Sun Sets to walk with you God as you did in the Garden of Eden at the time of the evening breeze.

May we stop listening to the daily garbage and head clutter and listen to you O God.

God help us to Stop, Look, and Listen to you even when times become shadowy and uncertain.

Help  heal all the chards and brokeness we see in your world and in ourselves.

Take these fragile pieces and make us wholly whole and await your healing of our bodies minds and spirits.
As we walk this week's pilgrim journey to the Cross and beyond help us to find and feel your presence ever near.

Give us courage to take each bump  along the way with grace and hope and the knowledge that things will get better.

May the path you have set before us be smooth and clear and that we will recognize where you are leading us.

May we see beauty and smell the fragrance of your Cathedral of life.

May we always see and feel  your light leading us ,so that we may be the light to others.

May we continue to feel the Water of Life coursing through our veins as a reminder of the promises we made at Baptism. May we always drink of this water and never be thirsty.

May our family members who are homeless, hungry, lonely, and lost find shelter, food, clothing and loving and compassionate caregivers who will help them in their time of need.

As the Sun Sets and the evening stars appear may we take time to pray for all those who work at night and those who protect us daily while we sleep.  We pray for all those who work in Hospice and Mortuary ministries.

God give us sure footing when the routes we travel become rough and uncertain and may we always come to you in our time of need and courage to ask our family members for help.

Time to Stop, Look, and Listen and take time for quiet reflection and introspection.

May we take time to stop, look, and listen and pray for those concerns and offer prayers for all our family members who have requested them.

We pray for sound government throughout our land and in the nations of the world and that there may be justice and peace in the war torn and places where there is  political instability and inequality.

We give thanks for your Cathedral of Life and all that you have made in the heavens and on this your planet Earth.

May our hearts continue to soar with gladness and thanksgiving for each day that you bring us. May we never take it for granted and show an attitude of gratitude.

God we offer our own prayers, thanksgivings , celebrations and remembrances to you now in faith and from our heart center.

May we continue to walk with love, joy, peace, and hope in our hearts this day and in the days to come as we approach each of the Holy 3 Days with awe, reverence, and humility.

Thank you God for this time to Stop, look, and listen  and be with you ,and we give thanks for our safe return home.  We pray this in the name of your Son Jesus. Amen.
