Showing love and compassion as we walk on the journey God has set before us

Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on our Journey,

Last evening before I went to bed I started receiving a barrage of negative Tweets or as they sometimes call them Nasty Grams, from someone who is supposed to be a follower of mine on Twitter. I have said time and time again that hate and judgement of anyone is NOT OKAY AT ANY SPEED,TIME, OR ANYWHERE! How are we to be the loving and compassionate Family of God when we go after each other's belief system? We must be mindful not mindless. You'd be surprised how rattling someone's cage late at night makes for a bad sleep cycle and bedfellows . This is especially true for those of us who are recovering from surgery and preparing for oncology appointments the next day. I had the worst time getting sleep and I had already had my pain medication. So please keep Tweets or FB posts positive and life affirming. There isn't any place for hate, condemnation, or judgment in social media of any kind. If you expect to be treated well and loved, think before you Tweet or Post. If you have something critical to say: Private Message or Direct Message a family member but remember to be nice and not judgemental. Enough said.

Now here is the news regarding today's appointment with Dr. Vara:  Today I received the confirmation that I'm indeed Cancer free, that being said I have 3 ways to approach this: Do nothing and go on my merry way and risk the cancer coming back with a vengeance with out any hope or cure, have adjuvant chemo to prevent it from coming back, or have the tumor molecularly studied to see how it responds to the treatment. I have weighed in my mind for the last few weeks that I am going to do what I have to do to fight this with everything I've got and have opted to go the chemo route because I'm young and since they caught it at the grey area of Stage II I want more of a chance to live. The drug they are talking about is 5FU. We will see what the tumor tests say in two weeks. So let my preemptive strikes begin and not bear any new cancerous fruit.. I am not afraid! I'm comfortable with this decision. No pressure or coercion by Dr. Vara led  me to make this decision. I even asked him what he would do! That info is confidential and he said it was the first time he gave answer to a patient regarding this.  If I lose my hair I will get red cascading curl wig like Nikki Smith or the princess in the movie Brave.

Tonight's walk was amazing and here are the pix that we will pray when we see these.

God we pray that we may be compassionate and loving to others and that love, joy, hope, and peace may blossom and bear good fruit.
We pray that we may be loving and compassionate to all of our family members wherever they may be and especially in the anonymous world of cyberspace and social media.
We pray that we may post and tweet with words that uplift, comfort, and console and be life affirming and positive. May hate in any form be vanquished.

We pray that we may be mindful of when we put fingers to keyboard, paper, and any device and think before we do so. May we be mindful of the time of day. Remember the person who will be receiving it.
God may we ever be watchful of all our actions in our daily life and may they rise with acceptance before you.

May we always keep our eyes set on you and what you have commanded us to do and to be.
May we accept the path(s) that are set before us even when they are curvy and not smooth.

Help us to see those vistas you have set before us and give us the time to be at one with you in your Cathedral of life.
We pray for alertness as we walk, bike, drive, skate or any form of transport. Help us to watch for pedestrians, little children, and the elderly and disabled.

May we appreciate one another as beautiful and blossoming family members who were made in Your image and likeness O, God.
We pray that the Sun may never set on our anger, hostility, or hurt feelings. May we forgive as you have forgiven us. May we listen with the ears of the heart and be one with each other.
May we find peace during the day and may we walk with a spirit of  calmness and joy.
May we always see the blue skies and the silver linings of our lives and may we ever be grateful each minute that we live, move, and be.
Help us always to see your foot and palm prints in our hearts and as you carry us through the storms and joys of life.
May we continue to Walk with you on our journey without fear and anxiety knowing that your plans are being made plain to see even when we do not see the whole canvass.
May we continue to pray for the needs of others as we pray and walk each night and throughout the day.
May we walk with you to Jerusalem in the week ahead and find ourselves walking on our own pilgrimage out of what ever is troubling us as an exodus from the fears, anxieties, and self-doubts that plague our lives.
 We pray for_______________
We Give thanks to God for _____________
We remember__________________________
We celebrate _________________________

God grant us a night of peace, love, joy, and hope and may we find ourselves evermore falling in love with You, our family members, and your amazing creation.
May we find ourselves securely wrapped in Your arms this night as we find our rest and home in You.

We lift these prayers to you God!
Amen.
