Enjoying a walk with God on our Pilgrim Journey !

Good Evening Loved Ones and Pilgrims on Our Journey!

I can't believe it has been since last Sunday I did an outdoor prayer walk and went on our pilgrim journey! It's true! I have missed the outdoors and God's Cathedral of Life! Just getting outdoors clears the head and lifts one's spirits! Tonight I felt God's presence with me as we were walking on our journey. It is amazing how sometimes all one has to be, is rested to feel the indwelling of God's spirit within us. I'm grateful to God for this week of low level activity and the peace it has brought to my body, mind, and spirit. Give yourself permission to enjoy a low level activity week or day. You will find rest, relaxation, and a refreshment of your body, mind, and spirit.  Tonight  you will get to have a complete photo pilgrimage  of tonight's walk along with prayers. Take time to pray in the silence  and reflect on your week. I love you and give thanks to God for you always.

Love, joy, and with a body, mind, and a spirit at peace,

Sara

Listen to this first!

The Summons

We begin our prayer walk by inviting God along and we pray for safety and give thanks to God for this holy time of prayer and pilgrimage.

Give thanks for God's Cathedral of Life and all God's goodness!
Pray that as you walk this pilgrim journey your hearts will be expanded and tenderized, spirits enlivened, steps quickened and that you'll feel the Water of Life hydrating you and coursing through your veins.
Give thanks To God for all God's abundance and all the things God has provided for you this day.
Pray to be good stewards of the Earth and remind yourselves that Planet Earth belongs to God.
Pray for all who work and labor and for safety in the workplace and fair wages.
Pray for all who travel and for safety on our roads, streets, highways, seas, and skies.
We pray for all who work in construction and for safe buildings to live, work, and frequent.

We pray for our loved ones especially __________________
Take time to reflect on your journey thus far.
Take time to reflect upon the week.
Take time to Stop, Look, and Listen to God and what God is saying to you in "The still small voice of calm"
Take time to feel your heart beat and your breathing. Thank God for giving you life and love.
Take time to lay down your worries.
Pray for those who are seeking new life paths and discerning calls to ministry of any kind.
If you are feeling lost ask God for direction and the courage to take first steps on a new journey.
Take time to remember those with Cancer and any chronic and autoimmune illness. Pray for better treatments for those in pain.
Pray for those who work at night and in the cold.
Pray for rain in the draught parched areas of our country and around the world. Pray for those in the paths of severe weather this weekend and those already affected.
Pray for all areas of political unrest around the world and for peace and justice for all God's Children.

Pray for all those who are homeless, hungry and all who long for acceptance and the courage to live authentically who they are.
Take time to quietly reflect as  this prayer walk ends. You may add any other prayers and your own prayers, thanksgivings, remembrances, and celebrations too.

Lord God we thank you for bringing us home safely on our prayer walk pilgrimage.

Let my prayer be set forth in thy sight as the incense, and let
the lifting up of my hands be an evening sacrifice.
Psalm 141:2
