Our Beautiful Life Tool Kit - is it rusty or is it being used Sweetly and to the Glory of God and God's Family Members?

Good Evening Family of  Love!

Happy Being Thoughtful and Thankful Thursday! Tonight let us get ready to wind down and get ready for the weekend. There is no time like the present and we all need to de-stress and have  a time where we partake in a spiritual dessert and not find ourselves in a desert frame of mind when we enter into our period of  Self and Sabbath Care. What is the sweetest thing you can think of spiritually to do? I think of being thoughtful and thankful and getting our gratitude muscles out. As spiritual beings from the beginning of our lives we all were given a beautiful life tool kit that makes us into who we are. Some times this beautiful life tool kit becomes lost and depending upon the circumstances in our lives may never be used or were used and then for some reason the lock became rusty. We were born to love, be loving, be merciful, be grateful, be accepting, be peacemakers, be engaged in the world as helpers and serve and protect each other by non-violent and just means. In what condition is y/our beautiful life tool kit? Where do we fall in the above? As yourself the question as contained in tonight's blog title, here it is again so that  we can see it better and it will be in boldface type: Our Beautiful Life Tool Kit - is it rusty or is it being used Sweetly and to the Glory of God and God's Family Members?  Let us meditate upon the above and find ourselves going deeper and deeper still so that we may meet God face to face. I don't know if we will be like Moses and will have to get ourselves a veil. We will see.

First sit back and relax and listen to this:Keeper of the Holy Grail -Richard Shulman

Let us start by doing gentle neck rolls first to the left and then to the right.
Then let us relax our shoulders by doing shoulder rolls first forward then backwards very gently.
Then clasp and unclasp your hands and spread out your fingers ever so gently.
If your feet are up do gentle ankle rolls and gentle foot stretches.
Begin your breathing ever so gently inhaling the Holy Spirit and exhaling Love.
Now close your eyes and keep breathing and invite God to join you in this holy time of conversation and listening. Ask God to open your hearts and ears that you may listen to what God is  and will be saying to you in the stillness and silence this night.  Do not be in a rush God is there and here at this very present moment. Take time to do as St. Benedict has taught us "To Listen with the ear of the heart"

God we thank you for our time to be with you and listen to what you would have us hear and what you have to say to us. May we continue to go deeper as we pray this night:

God give us the rest we need so that we may meet the day ahead with love and purposeful hearts.

God we pray for the tender ones who are in need this night of food, clothing , and shelter.

God  we pray for our family members who are grieving this night, comfort their hearts and with your holy consolation.

God we pray for our family members who find themselves in dangerous situations and not able to live in their own homes because they are refugees.

God we pray that we may be be peacemakers who boldly make peace without lifting up any weaponry but with the tools in our beautiful life toolkit.

God teach us how to love and care for the lonely , lost, unloving, and those who hate and wish us harm.

God we pray that we may walk steadfastly and with gentle and holy steps in your world. We pray that we may remember that our footsteps are always planted on holy ground ant that wherever we go is holy. We pray that we may find the holy in every day that we live, move, and just be.
