Dear Family of Love and Pilgrims on Our Journey,
Tonight I decided it would be a good idea to dial in with God on our prayer walk even more, and not take so many pictures. God continually reminds me during our prayer walk and time with Him in His Cathedral of Life that there is much to see, feel, touch, smell, and taste. Taste you ask? Taste is the word I choose to use for experiencing the richness of God's love, mercy and the world about us. God didn't make any junk! How do we/I know this? Take a look in the mirror and if you can pay attention to the light in your eyes, feel your heart beating, and your breathing. We are all beautiful living and breathing beings that God has made. This extends to the animal, vegetable, and mineral kingdoms as well.
We must take time to dial in with the divine/God each day and as I talked about in last evening's blog post make every day holy. You'll be surprised how that will change how you approach your week and life. Think of what this will do in our daily lives? Let's make a list! Yes another list without numbers and bullet points. These won't be any order.
We will get to know God or our higher power better and more closely.
We will begin to see everyone as a family member.
We will take on an attitude of gratitude and thankful living.
We will stop taking things or family members for granted.
We will see God in others.
We will be able to pray, give thanks, and worship not just on Sundays! Is there a midweek service that you can attend?
We may and will be able to meet challenges in our lives more fully. We may be able to get out of our comfort zones with less fear and trembling and with a renewed sense of faith and trust in God.
We will be able to relax and feel the Holy Spirit enlivening our spirits and quickening our steps!
We will actually be able to feel the Water Of Life coursing through our veins.
We will feel our hearts tenderizing and growing with abundant love.
We will not feel tasks being burdens but tasks and our life's work turning into ministries.
We will be able to feel abundant joy and gladness from the top of our heads to the soles of our feet.
We will be able to celebrate life and living and God's goodness and loving kindness each day that we live.
We will be able to give hope, make peace, bring joy, and show love to God's Cathedral of Life. That's our planet by the way.
We will be able to serve and allow family members to serve us.
We/I will keep walking with God on our daily pilgrimage and "The Light of Christ In me Recognizes the Light of Christ in You"
We/I will do this every day with God's help! Won't you my dear family of Love and pilgrims on our journey?
Well that's all for tonight on this Thursday: Being Thankful and Thoughtful with an attitude of Gratitude towards God and all that God does and is doing in our lives.
